Power your entire residence on or off-grid with the 28 kWh Outback Power SystemEdge 530NC with the 5kW SkyBox inverter. This pre-bundled battery-based energy package is part of the SystemEdge Suburban series by Outback. The high capacity (x12) Nano-carbon VRLA-AGM batteries store up to 28.8 kWh of nameplate energy. The DC-coupled 5kW Skybox grid-tie/battery hybrid inverter delivers 5kW of continuous power per second. This system uses DC coupling for both the solar and the connection to the battery system for greater overall efficiency. This all-in-one power management and battery storage package is designed to provide backup power in the event of a grid outage and to support time-of-use optimization.
Featuring the 5kW SkyBox True Hybrid Energy System and twelve (12) EnergyCell 200NC (Nano-Carbon) VRLA-AGM batteries, the SystemEdge 530NC can provide up to six hours of battery backup power. The PV solar system powers loads and charges batteries during the day, while the daily-cycled batteries power loads when the sun sets and grid power is expensive. This pre-bundled solution with EnergyCell 200NC batteries is engineered for optimal float service performance. The SystemEdge 530NC can provide power and storage to support loads consistent with a modern residence of a refrigerator, computer, multiple TVs, and lighting.
Designed for convenience, value and flexibility, the Outback Power SystemEdge pre-bundled packages take the guesswork out of selecting the right combination of power electronics and energy storage. The Outback Power SystemEdge 530NC package includes a factory pre-wired and tested 5kW SkyBox hybrid inverter, (x12) EnergyCell 200NC VRLA-AGM batteries, 3-shelf Integrated Battery Rack (IBR), SkyBox Rapid Shutdown, OPTICS RE web enabled monitoring and control, and all necessary connection hardware. The SkyBox hybrid energy system is designed for a clean balance-of-systems, all in one box, allowing for fast and easy installation. The Outback Power advanced technology allows for remote system control and monitoring available through any internet-enabled device with OPTICS RE.
