The Trojan SIND 02 1990 is a 3.1 kWh, 2 volt (1547Ah @ 20Hr), deep-cycle flooded battery with Smart Carbon. The SIND 02 1990 battery is part of the Trojan Solar Industrial Line and was specifically engineered to support renewable energy systems with large daily loads where the batteries are cycled regularly. With their Smart Carbon, these Trojan solar batteries are able to output 15% more cycles, while improving performance for 17 years of battery life based on IEC 61427. The Smart Carbon formula enhances battery life in applications where the batteries are undercharged on a regular basis.

This high amp-hour capacity solar battery is ideal for use in large off-grid photovoltaic (PV) systems, off-grid hybrid PV systems, grid-tied PV systems with battery backup, smart grid peak shifting systems and a variety of other applications.
