Description
The APsmart RSD-S-PLC SunSpec Rapid Shutdown module from APsystems is an NEC 2014, 2017, 2020 compliant module Level RSD when used with SunSpec inverters. Add-on-Module for 1 PV Module, MAX 80VOC, 15A, MC-4 connectors. RSD-S-PLC is compatible with SMA Sunny Boy Smart Energy model SBSE and other SunSpec inverters. The APsmart RSD-S-PLC SunSpec Rapid Shutdown module from APsysetms is a cost-effective and reliable solution for fulfilling NEC Code module level shutdown requirements. The module-level device has clips that attach to the PV module frame.
The RSD-S-PLC meets SunSpec maintains normal function by continually receiving a heartbeat signal from the APsmart Transmitter. The RSD executes rapid system shutdown when the Transmitter signal is absent. Users can manually execute rapid shutdown using a transmitter breaker switch.
