The Halo UltraGrip (HUG) from IronRidge is a fast, reliable roof mount designed for composition shingle roofs. Its cast-aluminum base features a built-in UltraGrip seal—an industrial mastic with foam backing—that adapts to bonded-course shingles and fills step-downs up to 1/8", creating a strong, waterproof barrier.

Installation is simple and mess-free: no need for prying shingles, pilot holes, or added sealants. Just secure with 2–6 RD Structural Screws (rafter or deck-mounted), reducing roof disturbance and speeding up the process.
