Hawker Powersource specializes in lead-acid batteries. They manufacture their batteries at their technologically-advanced and environmentally friendly manufacturing facility in Tennessee.

Hawker has five battery lines:

  • Energy-Plus 
  • Water Less - 85, 100, and 125 AH capacities
  • Powerline 
  • Flexpak 
  • Flex - 2 volt cells or monoblocs

Life cycles are 1,500-2,000 cycles, based on one cycle per day and 80% DoD, five days a week. Starting at Amp-Hours (AH) of 600, additional trays can be added as needed to increase voltage and AH capacity. Hawker batteries can expect to provide trouble-free solar energy storage for 15 to 20 years. 

Each Hawker battery features a multi-layer retention system, which improves the battery functioning and safety. The vertical and horizontal wraps, individual jackets, separators, and bottom boot encasement keep Hawker batteries running long-term to keep your clean energy secure. Custom-made posts, grommets, and heat seal process are innovative additions that provide an additional layer of high-quality features to their batteries. 

Hawker is a privately owned company headquartered in Tennessee and was founded in 1990. Their parent company is EnerSys, a publicly-traded company (NYSE: ENS) founded in 1999 and headquartered in Pennsylvania. As of 2018, EnerSys also owns Outback Power Battery.
