Description
Ready for off-grid or grid-tied operation, the Outback Power FLEXpower Radian (FPR-8048A-01) is a pre-assembled and pre-wired 8kW (8000 watt) hybrid inverter/charger system. The FPR-8048A-01 delivers 120/240Vac sinewave output in 48Vdc with dual AC inputs for grid and generator flexibility that requires no external switching. The system is equipped with all the necessary wiring, circuit breakers, communications, battery monitoring and PV ground fault protection. The 8kW inverter system is the ideal size for medium-sized power requirements such as larger homes, light commercial or backup power systems.
The GridZero operating mode makes it possible for a smaller inverter and battery system to perform like a much larger one when required, using stored and renewable energy sources and minimizing grid dependence. GridZero provides precise balancing between using stored energy, solar and utility power to overcome surges and load spikes when necessary. The FLEXpower Radian inverter/charger has seven different operating modes, including generator assist.
The fully integrated system comes with everything needed, outside of power sources and battery backup, Simply install the mounting bracket, hang the system on a wall, make the necessary connections and the system is completely operational. All equipment is ETL listed and built to meet National Electric Code standards. The FLEXpower system comes fully tested from the Outback factory and is designed for ease of installation.
