Description

The 40 kWh Sol-Ark L3 Limitless 208 V HV-40 is a 40 kWh, high-voltage lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) commercial battery energy storage system designed for indoor energy storage, backup power, and peak-shaving load management in demanding commercial and industrial environments. With a nominal DC capacity of 40.96 kWh and ~36.86 kWh of usable energy at 90% recommended depth of discharge, it delivers reliable, resilient power for grid outages, demand charge reduction, and optimization of solar or utility energy usage. 

Engineered for commercial scalability and performance, the HV-40 integrates easily with Sol-Ark 30K-3P-208V hybrid inverters and can be stacked up to 16 units per inverter, enabling energy storage system sizes from 40 kWh up to multi MWh installations. The system supports a high round-trip efficiency (~94%) and continuous charge/discharge capability, with a robust battery management system ensuring stable, efficient operation. It also includes industry-standard certifications (UL1973, UL9540, UL9540A) and a 10-year product/performance warranty for peace of mind.
