For off-grid or grid-tied operation, the Outback Power VFXR2812A is a 2.8kW (2800 watt) single-phase, hybrid inverter/charger. The VFXR2812A delivers 120Vdc sine wave output in 12Vac with an operating efficiency up to 90%. Engineered to operate in the harshest environmental conditions, the Outback Power VFXR inverter/charger has a vented NEMA type 1 die-cast aluminum chassis design. For increased power output, multiple units can be stacked and connected with other OutBack Power electronics for the ability to function in a wide variety of applications, and system sizes. Up to nine inverters can be combined in a three-phase system with 12V models. The FXR inverter/chargers have seven different operating modes, with generator assist. The GridZero operating mode minimizes grid dependence in areas where incentives are changing and utility sellback is limited. Pair with a MATE3s to add OPTICS RE to monitor and control system performance from any location.
