Headquartered in South Korea, Hyundai Solar was founded in 2005 by Hyundai Heavy Industries. Hyundai Solar manufactures photovoltaic cells and modules in their South Korean facility. They are considered to be a low-cost economical option for solar customers. Hyundai Solar produces monocrystalline and polycrystalline solar panels including their RG, RG Black, RI, KI, and WI Aquamax series. Hyundai Solar modules can be used in residential, commercial, utility-scale, and floating solar projects.

Hyundai Solar puts quality first, and all modules are processed through two stage electroluminescence testing during manufacturing to detect and eliminate cell fissures and damaging micro-cracks. Their solar panels incorporate PERL technology which provide high efficiency and better performance in low irradiation, while also eliminating LID and PID to ensure higher yield over the panel’s lifetime. Hyundai Solar modules are backed by a 12-year product warranty and 30-year performance warranty.
