Colorado Solar Rebates

Colorado makes renewable energy, including solar power, a reality for business and home owners. On top of a 30% federal energy tax credit for solar panel installation, Colorado has discounts and incentives to make green energy affordable for everyone. These include a cash rebate up to $6,000, a property tax exemption and ongoing performance credit for generating your own power up to 15 cents per kilowatt hour.

Customers of all the public and private electric utility companies in Colorado are eligible to participate and receive discounts. For example, program covers includes Xcel Energy, Aquila,Fort Collins, Boulder and United Power.
