Alabama Solar Rebates

There are few Alabama solar incentives at present time. The TVA Green Power Program is a discount program that applies to both commercial and residential solar installations and offers a $1,000 cash rebate and a 30 cent per kWh production incentive for generating energy with clean solar power.

Alabama residents can take advantage of a 30% Federal Investment Tax Credit offered by the federal government. The tax credit can be applied immediately and runs until 2016. Residents who live within the jurisdiction of the Tennessee Valley Authority.

The fact is, Alabama receives plenty of sunshine and solar power pays for itself. There is a high possibility that more Alabama rebates and discounts will be available in the future.
