Arkansas Solar Rebates

There are no rebates or solar incentives offered to Arkansas residents who choose to go solar. There are still solar incentives available for installation, including the 30% federal energy tax credit.

Arkansas has a net metering law which enables your electric meter to actually run backwards. When your home solar panels generate more energy than you use, the utility company will provide credit for the extra power generated. Residential systems up to 25 kW are eligible for net metering.

Arkansas solar rebates are lacking at this time. Clean solar is a growing energy source, so most likely there will be more Arkansas discounts in the future. The massive savings on utility bills and the increased value of your home due to solar installation will likely offset the money you spend on solar panels.
